Handmade adobe and wood house
This beautiful and unique house is handmade with adobe and wood. It’s perfect for a nature-filled vacation with family or friends, housing up to 7 people. When you are ready to explore, enjoy walks along the river or through the hills in this rural mountain town. San Agustín Etla offers art, nature, cafés, restaurants, and small shops to meet your needs within a comfortable walking or biking distance. he historic capital of Oaxaca is also accessible by taxi or public transit (20 min). You can make a pizza or bread in the wood oven, grill out on the patio, and meditate in the kiosk. It’s also a great place to work online, with stable internet and quiet nooks. The house has 3 bedrooms, and a TV room which could be adapted as another bedroom. Garden, laundry room and parking are shared. Jose and Angela, who work for us, will support me with your stay, but I am available at my cell phone via instant messaging. The San José and Vista Hermosa neighborhoods are hilly. There is nature to enjoy everywhere, two churches with their squares, an arts center, historic buildings, small stores, a few restaurants and street food, and soccer fields with some exercise equipment. The neighbors are usually friendly and helpful if you can't find something. Driving: The streets are narrow, please be courteous of other vehicles. Parking is on a gravel/dirt driveway inside the gated property. Be aware that there is a bit of a downhill slope on the driveway. Motorcycle and bicycle: This is a great way to navigate San Agustin. Walking: many things are within a comfortable walking distance if you don't mind hills and dirt/unpaved roads. Taxis: There are shared taxis with predetermined routes (quite cheap) and private taxis with personalized services (more expensive). Public transit: The larger buses and combi vehicles pass by the main roads.
