Heiwana House is situated overlooking Gowlland Bay on Quadra Island. The house is a hand crafted cedar framed Japanese House. Its a beautiful and relaxing place to spend time, whether you're looking for peace and quiet or adventure and exploration of Quadra Island and surrounding parts. Activities include whale watching, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and other marine pastimes. The bathroom and shower area is Japanese style. It has full shower, Ofuro sitting tub, and sauna. Downstairs also has a mini-gym with dumbells, kettleweights, stretch balls, mats and a Kaiser M3 exercise bike. It's a perfect space to tone, stretch and do a cardio workout. Quadra is a very friendly Island Community. Historically, the main industries were logging and fishing, but these days most Islanders work in local services, tourism, woodworking, small scale fishing, and homesteading. As this is a quiet neighborhood, please be very considerate and thoughtful with your noise level. No parties please.
