The name 'Villas Vista Masaya' means 'Houses with a view to Masaya'. These homes away from home are only 1.5 km out of Masatepe, with a supermarket and the daily market for fruit and vegetables. The house is for two persons, has stable WIFI and it is possible to work online here. The house has a panoramic view to the crater lake of Masaya and the mountains. There are trails and there is a swimming pool. You’ll be amazed about the nature and the tranquility here. The houses are spacious and provide you with all the comforts you could possibly need. This house has a private terrace, a fully equipped kitchen with a four pits stove with oven and refrigerator, a private bathroom with a warm shower, a hammock and rocking chairs. The house is located in a remote area. WIFI signal is good without extra costs during the whole day, but the experience learn that between seven and nine at night the signal can weaken or stop because of saturation. We kindly ask you to take in account this inconvenience. Villas Vista Masaya is a small bungalow park managed by the Dutch couple Joop Hakvoort and Nel Verbree. They are offering you a private studio that can accommodate two people. All the houses have two single beds, a private bathroom with a warm shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace with a hammock and rocking chairs. The roofed terrace offers a gorgeous panoramic view. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee or a little siesta in the afternoon. We are located 1 ½ km north of Masatepe, on the high part of the plateau of the white villages. The climate here is so fresh that you won't need any air conditioning. From Villas Vista Masaya, you can reach Granada, the artisan market of Masaya or the two volcanoes Masaya and Mombacho within an hours’ drive. Also, the virgin beaches of Carazo are close by. The meseta is a popular area amongst the local people. On Sundays in particular, many locals come here to buy plants in Catarina or ceramics in San Juan de Oriente, go swimming in the Lagoon of Apoyo, buy handcrafted wooden furniture in Masatepe or enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants this area has to offer. For those guests travelling without a car, it is relatively easy to get around by bus, taxi and/or tuctuc (mototaxi). From Managua, Masaya or Granada you can either take a bus or a taxi. The price from Managua airport ranges anywhere from $ 40 to $ 50, depending on the amount of people. Renting a car is possible at the airport. Recommendable is a four wheel drive. Tuctuc pass by or take a walk of 15 minutes to the paved road. In Masatepe you can take a bus directly to Masaya, Granada (one stop over in Masaya or Catarina), Jinotepe and Managua. The last one and a half kilometers to reach this hidden place are on a dirty road. Although it can be done with a normal car, a four-wheel drive is easier. The dry season runs from December until May. In any of the other months it could happen that you have to wait for half an hour until a small river caused by heavy rains has dissipated. You will not be the only one, so it will be a nice opportunity to meet some of the local people here.
