Cherry Hill Apartment

The apartment is a neat, roomy, completely private basement apartment in our home in the Cherry Hill neighborhood in the town of New Paltz. It's a short walk through campus to town (about a mile) or a super-quick drive. Take nature hikes along the Rail Trail and River-to-Ridge Trail and check out the great bars and restaurants in town. This is a convenient, private, and comfortable New Paltz basement apartment, but if you are looking for a secluded Hudson Valley farmhouse, this is not it :) The space is comfortable and private with a TV and Roku with lots of channels. Feel free to log in and then log out of your own channels. There is also turntable with some LPs to listen to. The kitchen is well-stocked for basic cooking, and there are some spices and necessities in the cabinets. The driveway is yours to use for parking. Up to three cars can fit end-to-end. There is also a table and a couple of chairs outside the apartment if you want to have your coffee outside. The property and yard above the apartment is off limits to guests as there are dogs that are on an invisible fence. They may bark and make a lot of noise if they see you. They are family dogs, but they are protective. Let us know if you need anything or if you have any questions about the area. This is a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We live on a corner with two cul de sacs. There are deer, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and other wildlife around. You may even hear coyotes howling in the orchard at night. Guests can easily get a taxi, and they arrive pretty quickly. *Be sure to let the taxi driver know that, though the address is 2 College Ave, the apartment entrance is on Howard street. We live a floor above the apartment, and you may hear us as we go about our daily routines. We are not excessively loud, and we quiet down at night, but we are a dog-and-kid family, and you may hear us from time to time. Also, our plumbing system uses pumps which are occasionally loud and you may hear an occasional clunk when showering or using the bathroom.
