Casaloma: A Cozy Country Home

Casaloma is a beautiful two story country villa located in Arroyo Frío, a small town on the way to Constanza, at La Vega Province. A place to relax and get in contact with nature, perfect for entertaining family and friends. Whether you are looking for an active vacation or a quiet space to get away, you will find it in Casaloma. A barbecue is available in the terrace, and there is an ample lawn, with a playhouse, and the caretaker can build an evening bonfire. You may also enjoy several activities nearby, such as trekking or bird watching, strawberry fields, or take a drive to the Ebano Verde Nature Reserve with its beautiful river, where you can swim in pristine water. There are several beautiful drives to nearby valleys and the towns of Tireo, Constanza and Jarabacoa, that can be reached within 45 minutes or less. If you visit in January, you may enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms at a local nursery. Guests can access all areas of the home, the cozy den, the fireplace that warms up our living room, the kitchen, the terrace and garden with it's fun treehouse for the little ones. We can be available for run-throughs of the house upon request, and with three days notification prior to the visit. The house is nearby several valleys dedicated to agriculture; vegetables, strawberries and flowers can be seen growing at a short distance by vehicle. A creek, crossed by a wooden hanging bridge at walking distance is a favorite for children. It is best to use a SUV to get around and be able to explore the area. There is a caretaker that provides help with the fireplace, evening bonfires and other handy work. He can also be a guide to visiting nearby places of interest. Also there is a lady that provides daily cleaning and cooking on a schedule. In the summer, we recommend bringing insect repellent just in case.
