Gateway to the Great Outdoors Apartment

The lower level of 'Gateway to the Great Outdoors' is bright and open with approx. 1000 sq. ft. Sitting on 6 acres there is room to explore. We are close to Lake Summit in which you also have kayak access. There is an abundant amount of hiking trails, waterfalls, zip lines, rafting and more within 10 to 15 minutes of our location. This property sits halfway between Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC, approximately 30 minutes. This space has a sauna, flat screen TV, large bathroom, eat-in kitchenette, queen-sized bed in the bedroom, an outdoor sitting area (where you will have long range winter views); all the essentials for a relaxing getaway. Private entrance to lower level of 'Gateway to the Great Outdoors' main house. We like to give our guest their privacy, but we are more than happy to answer any questions they may have at anytime by phone or text. We are in rural Tuxedo, NC with mountains, lakes and rivers. We have several local breweries plus the very impressive Sierra Nevada brewing company in nearby Mills River. Brevard, NC (also know as the land of waterfalls) is the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest which is approx. 30 min. away. DuPont State Forest is also 20 minutes away with excellent hiking, biking, and waterfalls. It's also where several movies, such as The Hunger Games, was filmed. There is plenty of parking for our guest. We will provide information on places to eat, shop and play with web sites and mileage listed.
