The Hostel is located in the beautiful Sacramento Mountains at 7000 feet, in Southeast New Mexico. Close to the resort town of Ruidoso and Cloudcroft, 25 miles to White sands and 10 miles to Alamogordo. The elevation is 6,700 feet, cool in the summer and snow in the winter. Explore and enjoy Nature all four seasons, surrounded by 28 Acres of land backed up to the Lincoln National Forest with unlimited hiking. The Cloudcroft Hostel has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, big porch and plenty of outdoor space. There are sleds to borrow for sledding in White Sands.
