Small New Haven Cozy Cottage

This very small, compact cottage is in a rural setting, off the beaten path. It is about a 12 minute drive to Middlebury where you can find shops, restaurants and Middlebury College. Burlington is about 40 minutes north of where we are located. Hiking/skiing in the Green Mountains, fly fishing in the nearby New Haven River, boating/swimming on Lake Champlain, and enjoying the many local craft breweries and wineries are some of the many activities you have access to from this beautiful spot. This is a completely refurbished small compact cottage with it's own yard and private driveway, located in a beautiful rural country setting. There is a small, separate bedroom with a cozy double bed and a comfortable full size pullout couch in the compact living room/kitchen area, a full size bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a well equipped kitchen. Entry into the cottage is thru a spacious mudroom, an ideal space to store skiing, fishing/hiking equipment, or bikes. A comfortable deck off the front of the cottage can be accessed either from inside or outside the cottage. This comfortable, cozy space is cleaned with Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocols, which were developed with expert guidance. The cottage has a beautiful back yard with a fire pit and chairs up behind the cottage. My house is right next door. Please make yourself at home and feel free to wander the yards if you wish. I work Monday thru Friday, from 8:45 AM until 5:30 PM. I am available to my guests before and after those times. I am available at most times on Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions or need something, you can always text me. Should you want to visit or prefer your privacy, I can accommodate either. The neighborhood is quiet with the ability to see other neighbors homes, but far enough away from them for complete privacy. We are surrounded by many trees and fields and enjoy a beautiful view of the Green Mountains. If you are an early riser, there are some amazing sunrises. Typical Continental breakfast options like eggs, muffins, fruit and yogurt, etc. will be available to serve yourself. Coffee, tea and juices are also provided.
