The villa is bright with a delightful modern Caribbean-style decor. Each room in the villa is fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The private pool and large verandah (recently extended for even more outdoor space) make the ideal setting for your lazy days and relaxing evenings, complete with an outdoor shower, sun loungers, table and chairs and a comfy sofa for your relaxation. For beach lovers, the beautiful and peaceful Bottom Bay beach is just a short 2 minute stroll at the end of the road - perfect. There are also several other unspoilt beaches within a short 5-10 minute walk If what you are looking for is perfect tranquillity, privacy without isolation, security and serenity, but with every contemporary convenience, you will find it at hideAway. Our prices reflect that our villa is our holiday HOME and not just a rental property to simply make money on rentals. We love our home and want to invite guests who will respect it. We do not allow any kind of party bookings or weekend only bookings. The villa is best suited for couples who want somewhere to relax after a busy day enjoying the many sights and interesting places to visit during the day. We provide FREE WiFi internet, NetFlix TV (access to 100's of films) and a house phone with FREE calls within Barbados (handy for restaurant bookings, day trip enquiries, etc). hideAway is a detached home with a gated driveway for your car, adding security and privacy. It is let on a self-catering basis so everything has been provided for you to enjoy a home-from-home experience. Our lovely pool guy or gardener may be on-site during your stay to tend the property, but will not intrude on your privacy - unless you fancy a chat which they are always happy to do. hideAway is located in Atlantic Rising which s a small development of about 25 similar properties close to Bottom Bay beach. There are two shops within walking distance for everyday groceries, and for more choice Emerald City shopping centre is a 15 minute drive from the villa, with a large supermarket, post office, ATM, Pharmacy, and a selection of other shops and outlets. Emereld city supermarket also offers a free shuttle back to the villa with your shopping. Bottom Bay beach is just a 2 minute stroll from the villa. Photographs of this beach are used for global marketing of Barbados and is very popular for weddings ... but unbelievably, it is still undiscovered by many (which gives you a lovely peaceful spot for your picnic on the beach) The property is within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the local bus stop with a bus passing approximately every 20 minutes to Bridgetown. Another bus stop which is about a 20 minute walk provides a bus service to Oistins/Miami Beach on the South coast. We recommend a car rental for at least part of your stay so you can explore the beautiful island in your own time. COVID-19: All guests are asked to wear masks at check-in and check-out with our property manager. Our villa is NOT to be used for large social gatherings please (party, wedding, family reunion, etc). It is our holiday home and not a party house. The owners of hideAway villa do not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or death to persons or their private belongings however caused whilst they are renting the property. Please ensure all guests have adequate insurance cover for your holiday, including cancellation. Air Conditioning: Included in the rental is 125 units of electricity per week. Excessive and inefficient use of the a/c will increase your electricity consumption, and we reserve the right to charge guests for additional electricity used at B$1 per unit. The property is fitted with external CCTV for general security monitoring whilst the villa is unoccupied.
