Cozy Room with private bathroom.

A cozy soft blue room with a private bathroom, and separate entrance. Our home is a friendly one. As common areas are shared we enjoy meeting people from all parts of the world. If someone prefers to be alone - that's OK too! We have welcomed people from all parts of the world for short and longer stays since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) This is not a hotel - but rather a 100-year-old comfortable house in a beautiful neighbourhood of friendly folks. The room is on the lower level with an adjoining laundry room. On the main floor is a bright kitchen that opens to a spacious deck and backyard - trampoline and BBQ. Centrally located! Access to a kettle, toaster and 2 small fridges in the adjoining laundry room if you would like to prepare snacks in the privacy of your room. A microwave is also possible if you indicate an interest in having one. Overnight street parking is available April 1st to November 30th. If inquiring into the room during Winter months, please let me know if you need parking. It is possible in our driveway which is long and narrow, so requires some coordinating. If you bike, our garage can be used for safe storage. We are around the corner from the Spur Line trail which is a wide road-free way of getting to uptown Waterloo. Great for walking or biking. We are also a quick walk to King Street - and two different LRT (light rail) stations. I am happy to help in any way I can while you are here. As the space is to self-isolate I can help from a distance or you can write/text when in the house and I can answer any questions you might have. Our home is in a central neighbourhood between uptown Waterloo and downtown Kitchener. All within easy walking distance you can find a grocery store, bus stops, School of Pharmacy, (Hidden by Airbnb) , WLU's School of Social Work, the Tannery, restaurants, cinemas, dance clubs, and walking trails. Overnight street parking is possible from April 1st to November 30th. From December 1st to March 31st parking overnight needs to be in the driveway. If it's a year with a lot of snow parking might not be possible during the winter months. Please ask about this ahead of time! The laundry facilities are also on the lower level. Our family will arrange with you when it is OK for us to do our laundry as we need to walk through the room to reach the washing machine. Since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) we have had a constant stream of guests without that ever being an issue. Please let me know if you have any questions about this! As our home is over 100 years old it does have some creaky bones.
