Charming Artist Studio
Historic building on an alley, in the heart of Phoenixville one block from cafés, theater, restaurants, breweries and hiking trails. 1st floor has a small lounge area with a couch, tv & bathroom. A spiral staircase takes you to the large creative studio with paintings and a mural. The bed is a futon with an extra memory foam mattress. There is a twin bed for family member. (no young children).There is a small kitchenette. Great location with bike trails starting directly across the street. There are paintings, mosaics and stained glass making, this a unique space for those who like creativity. The main studio space is quite large with dining table, couch, a double and a twin bed. In the winter, snuggle up to the charming gas fireplace. There is a courtyard with pond which opens to a town park with trees.. The French creek is across the street and the Schuylkill river and canal are in walking distance. You can pick up bike trails across the street. Great location in the heart of restaurants, breweries and gift shops. There is one small parking space which is worth the price of the rental. ( not appropriate for large trucks and vehicles.) Everything in town is in walking distance and parking is a premium. The studio is behind the main house with a private entrance from the courtyard which enters to the downstairs sitting area. There is a spiral staircase that goes up to the sleeping area, kitchenette and large studio and sleeping space. From the courtyard there is also a gate that opens to a community park. The studio is self-check-in. You will not meet me for your privacy, but I am available by text or phone if you need anything. I have a sheet with restaurants, trail, instructions and things to do, all in walking distance. The studio is located on an alley behind a stone church. The alley goes to Bridge Street, the main street in town but the house is buffered by a park. The location is in the heart of Phoenixville where there are many restaurants, breweries and unique shops. Phoenixville is near Valley Forge National park. 2 rivers run through Phoenixville, with many bike trails which connect through the center of town. The Colonial Theatre shows arts films and classics. Steel City Coffeehouse offers live entertainment. First Fridays in the summer has live music on the street. There is 1 parking space available. This is worth gold as Phoenixville is a popular town and you are in walking distance to everything. There is a bus stop nearby which goes to King of Prussia mall, Norristown transportation center and the Philadelphia outlets.. SEPTA: routes 99 and 139. SEPTA and AMTRAK train in Paoli, about 20 min drive . Location is near Expo Center in Oaks, Columbia Station, King of Prussia Mall, Philadelphia Outlets in Limerick, Valley Forge Park and many hiking trails along French Creek and Schuylkill River. Canoe and kyack rental nearby in Mt. Clare.
