One and a half hour drive from Bogota (50 miles), going through and excellent road down the mountains. The town of Nocaima is one mile away from the house. La Vega is a bigger town (25 thousand people) located 4 miles away. There are public transportation (buses) going from Bogota to Nocaima the whole day. The house has a living groundskeeper, and his wife . They take care of the house and will be in charge of making your stay an unforgettable experience. The lady is available to clean, cook and pamper our guests with anything they need. She is an outstanding cook, and delivers from breakfast through late dinner. Nocaima is a little quiet town with around 7000 people. You can get basic things at supermarkets and farmacies, it is a typical central Colombian country town. There are options of outdoor sports like rafting, canopying, nature walks with local guides. It is surrounded by beautiful natural spaces for walks &, birdwatching From the airport to Nocaima the ride takes between 1 1/4 to 1/2 hours. Transportation can be arranged to pick you up at the airport, or you could drive under our directions, getting to Casa Calima is really easy. Parking is not an issue, Our main parking holds up to 10 cars and then we have an additional one which holds other 10 The service fee is included in the base price, however a tip for them will be welcome and well deserved by them.
