For nature lovers, we are only minutes from the scenic Caura River. Close by arre public transport, gyms, supermarkets, community parks. The studio has a separate, private entrance. It is air conditioned, internet and cable TV ready within a quiet, secure, gated compound. WELCOME!! Its in a private residence located in a quiet gated community. The space is self contained with all amenites: toilet and bath; kitchen and dining area, and it is air conditioned. Among the furnishings are a dining set, one bed and a couch and can hold a maximum of two people . There is also a washing machine. Guests will have cable and wireless internet access. We are a home away from home and treat our guests with good home grown Trini accommodation. We will be available whenever you need us cause you will be sharing our home. UPDATE: I had some feedback from my last guest about an odor. This I have been advised is because the place remains closed when not in use. My plumber advised I run water in the bath and sinks and open the windows intermittently. That has addressed the issue. Guests will love my neighbourhood because it is small, secure, quiet and surrounded by nature, yet we are close enough to everything. 10 minutes from the University of the West Indies, 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Trincity Mall (Trinidad's premier mall in the east),and just 5 minutes from the eastern main road where you can access many stores, small Chinese, Indian and Creole restaurants. One of the nice features of the neighborhood is the open spaces within the community and its environs, so that if guests like an early morning walk, it is the perfect environment. If driving, the commute to the city of Port of Spain is about 45 mins during peak time and 20 minutes off peak. It is safe and quiet and close to nature. I wake up every morning to the sound of birds tweeting. Love that! Guests can get a taxi just outside the neighbourhood.
