'La Casa del Herrero' - Colonial Apartment in the historic center of Quito Located in a colonial house of the 17th century, known as "The blacksmith's house", its name is due to the fact that historically there lived a family dedicated to the old work of the smithy. Its colonial architecture with the most impressive views of the historic center of Quito, make this a unique place for visitors who want to know Quito living a unique experience. This Apartment is part of one of the 17 houses of the colonial period that remain in the city, the same that was recovered and restored by a renowned architect from Quito, who turned it into an exclusive and unique architectural space for its charm. This architectural space has two interior patios, fountain, game room with pool table and grill area. It is also characterized by its peacefulness and silence, within a cozy atmosphere, making it the ideal place to rest. The Apartment has first-class finishes and contemporary furniture that, when combined with the classic colonial architecture, generate an atmosphere of distinction and comfort. To this is added an exceptional view of the main attractions of Quito; its churches, cathedrals and the imposing Panecillo. It has a beautiful terrace with garden and a balcony in the master bedroom, from where you can appreciate the wonders of ancient Quito, as well as its unique sunsets that paint the sky of Quito turning it into a natural piece of art. It also has a warm fireplace that makes it even more cozy and is the excellent company to enjoy a nice dinner, a glass of wine, or a pleasant reading. The owners are a Peruvian-Quiteña family who felt in love with the historic center of the city and decorated this Loft with love and personalization. We live in Quito so we are in permanent contact with our guests and always available to settle any requirement or need. The Apartment is within walking distance of the main cultural attractions and places of interest located in the historic center, and if you want to move to other parts of the city it is easy to take a taxi that are very cheap and convenient. In addition, our dear "Segundito" the concierge, is always on site and available to assist you in any need.
