Relax in the quiet seaside village of Laborie, in our cozy, well equipped family home. Only 10 minutes drive from Hewanorra International, only 4 minutes drive to picturesque Rudy John beach and Cultural Centre. 4mins to local shops and gas station. We are close to the beach and the towns of Vieux Fort and Soufriere. The owner lives on site, and is able to provide local knowledge and advice, in addition to arranging Tours, Reservations, Airport transportation, trips to Martinique, Kinesiology Health Treatments and Personal training all at a good rate. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes downhill and across a flat area all the way there, and up a fairly steep hill for about the last third of the journey on the way back. Don't feel like walking? With just a short 4 minute walk from the house to the (gas station) at La Croix, a bus will take you to Laborie beach in only 3 minutes. For an Authentic Caribbean experience visit us in Laborie, Laborie is a beautiful, clean well maintained village, with friendly, helpful people, a selection of bars and places to eat, many with free wifi, and wonderful views of the sea. The Cultural Center which showcases some of the islands wonderful art and creative talents, also includes a small cafe and changing room ($1). Local transport, is inexpensive and stops right outside the property, minibuses will take you to the local mall with a supermarket and ATM in 4 minutes, or into Vieux Fort town, in just 8 minutes; Vieux Fort will support all your banking and additional shopping needs as well as giving you access to more upmarket restaurants, bars, clubs and water sports, such as kite surfing at Sandy Beach. So please check out the temperature and weather, for the time of year you plan to visit. If needed bring a hat. A small lightweight rucksack will also prove invaluable! If you plan to bathe at the Sulphur Springs, please bring a dark coloured towel and bathing suit to avoid staining.
