Beautiful country-like, safe neighborhood surrounded by renovated homes; perfect for walks with nearby trails and comfortable for business traveler wanting coziness! Ideal location between all Bay Area cities. Near BART and few steps to bus. Price can be adjusted depending on length of stay, number of guests and pets. Fee for extra guests beyond 2. Very private, quiet, charming pine vaulted ceiling cottage with private entrance. Paved, large gated front patio and private small backyard with entire cottage perimeter fenced-in. Plenty of street parking in front. Beautiful, historic, safe neighborhood where folks stroll (no sidewalks...country-like) w/kids & pets--surrounded by multi-million $ mega houses. Paver tile & stamped concrete floors with area rugs (rugs, bedding, towels, & decor may change since photos). High-speed Internet and Smart TV (log in with your subscription or bring Amazon or Roku stick). At time of writing, voice activated cable box too with movie channels etc. but not guaranteed. Please note: fully functional "tabletop" kitchen appliances for cooking (see photos). Entire cottage building including private front and backyards. I live in the separate, main home next door. I am available for any questions, travel info, etc. (native Bay Arean/San Franciscan). Due to Covid-19 shelter in place ordinance and safety precautions, shared laundry room may be UNAVAILABLE but there is a plethora of laundromats a few blocks away. I have friendly dogs on my property that don't have access to your space but you may hear/see them in the yard. You may also see/hear us enjoying or exercising in our backyard. You will love the charm of Niles! Beautiful, quiet, safe, eclectic Historic Niles neighborhood of Fremont, CA (near San Francisco, San Jose/Santa Clara). The original "Hollywood" where Bronco Billy westerns and Charlie Chaplin movies were filmed ("The Tramp" filmed here, released 1915). Downtown area full of antique shops, old buildings and a few restaurants. More restaurants spread out within the "Tri-City" area (Fremont/Union City/Newark). Our street is very unique as we have large old trees, large lots and no sidewalks...gives folks a feeling of being out in the country (within a large city). Easy train ride to SF and other cities in the Bay Area; or a 20-30 minute drive in any direction to the many other cities with wonderful shopping and dining experiences. Take a historic Niles Canyon Railway steam train ride through to the local wine country. Perfect commute location to ALL BAY AREA CITIES-SF, San Jose/Cupertino/Santa Clara/Milpitas, San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton, Palo Alto/Redwood City/San Mateo, etc. Walking distance from public transportation (bus stop literally a few steps away, BART train around the corner-walk, bike, drive, Amtrak train nearby). Convenient train ride without traffic congestion to SF, airport, other locations. Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind inside. Smoking outside only if butts not thrown on ground (use ashtray and bag up before trashing). 420 outside ok. Only well-behaved, house-broken dogs are allowed. No cats allowed (allergies). Permission for pets must be approved in advance an at Host's discretion. Additional pet fee may be applied and outlined prior to booking. Place must be maintained (cleaning supplies provided) and returned close to how it was given without dirty dishes in the sink, food in fridge, trash left inside or pet droppings not picked up. Cleaning fee is to "partially" cover a full deep cleaning of all surfaces and floors, carpet & upholstery shampooing, washing all bedding/linens used, polishing furniture, dusting and cleaning just about everything top to bottom.
