Looking for relaxation? Casa de Colores is for you! Our Bali inspired villa is 2 1/2 acres of lush gardens and tropical fruit trees sitting along a tranquil flowing creek. We're 5 minutes from central Atenas, the town National Geographic hailed as having "the best weather in the world". Bask in the splendor of our salt water pool and jacuzzi while being serenaded by the exotic calls of tropical songbirds. Then relax in a hammock under the shade of a palm as you savor the juicy sweetness of mangos picked fresh from one of our many trees, or soak up some sun to the tranquil cascade of our perennial creek. A casual and airy ambiance greets you upon entering the guest house, completely renovated in 2015, featuring an elegantly appointed en suite master bath with luxurious designer tub, designer sink with counter top and storage, toilet and wardrobe closet. The bedroom has a queen-size bed with sitting area, bay window and a large ceiling fan. The second bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, sitting area, wardrobe closet, large ceiling fan and en suite with rain-shower, sink with storage, toilet and corner shelves. In the common room there is a granite counter-top peninsula bar, sleeper-bench and large ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, 4-burner stove-top oven, microwave and toaster-oven. It is fully stocked with cookware and tableware. The house uses a solar-heated hot water system, has shaded patio areas and WiFi is provided. To make the most out of "the best weather in the world", guests have access to the outside area which includes a salt water swimming pool and jacuzzi, with an adjoining rancho and barbecue grill. WiFi is provided in the guest house and there is access to the laundry room. We respect your space and privacy. But if you need us, we are here to help you with whatever we can. It is populated with small rustic cabins, modest homes and expansive estates. Small orchards, the creek, densely forested hills, and abundant wildlife also define the area. Casa De Colores ~ A tranquil oasis with songbirds, toucans, iguanas, agoutis, and the occasional monkeys provide an exotic backdrop. Central Atenas is 5 minutes away by car. It's location, only 25 minutes to San Jose airport, 45 minutes to Jacó Beach, and 90 minutes to La Paz Waterfall, makes Atenas the perfect hub for your day trips. It is also centrally located 2-1/2 hours from Manuel Antonio National Park and 3 hours from Arenal Volcano. Taxi service is widely available and reasonably priced to get around town. Bus service is available from Atenas to many parts of the country. Within walking distance, there is a small mom and pop store about 10 minutes away. A bar and grill, convenience store and other small establishments are about 20 to 25 minutes away on foot.
