Icelandic Heritage Home provides all the comforts you could ask for in a beach vacation rental. Sleeps 5 -6 comfortably. Unserviced guest house sleeps 2 additional adults, is extra. One block from beach, playground, theater, and shops. Ideally located. The kitchen equipped for cooking, or skip the cooking and try one of the local restaurants. Playpen avail. Oversized deck. Large drive. Propane bbq. Firepit in the backyard with firewood. No CO detector because no gas. Electric heat The whole house and yard. 3 bedroom bungalow with kitchen and living room. Large deck, guesthouse. The garage is not included but could be with advance notice. This home is partially wheelchair accessible and was lived in for years by someone using a wheelchair. There is a ramp to the backdoor. The bathroom and door was expanded. There is a bump to go over at the door. The whole property except the guest house unless included in rental for an extra fee of $75. The house manager is just a call away. You will be greeted on or after arrival by Sharon who manages the property. This is a lovely area of Gimli close to all everything happening in town. Gimli theater is one block away and plays current blockbusters. The beach has a lovely boardwalk. There are several restaurants, coffee houses, the Gimli Glider, and heritage museum. Spend your day at the beach and then try a pierogi pizza at Brennivans. Be sure to have pickerel. It is a Lake Winnipeg delicacy. The Arnes Farmers markets attracts vendors and visitors from all over. There are many great day trips. Email us for ideas. A lovely day might start with a walk along the beach and down the dock. Stop at the “oldie” pub for bacon and eggs or for something trendier Kaffe Haus. I prefer to walk but you can easily drive. There is lots of parking at no cost around town. The house is available to rent weekly between June 15th and September 15th. September 15-June 15th the house is avialable for seasonal monthly rental at a discounted rate. Minimum rental is 1 week in summer. Contract will be provided to renters. Guests must be disclosed. Summer rentals must be paid in full by April 15th after which a 50% fee will be charged for late cancellations unless another rental occurs for the time period. Rental fees are due in advance of all rentals. No refunds Deposit is refundable.
