Charming Apartment in Historic 1920’s Farmhouse

Come stay in our fully furnished apartment with private entrance in an historic 1920’s farmhouse just minutes from the Forest Glen Metro (red line) or the MARC Train. Be at Union Station (downtown DC) in under 40 minutes using public transportation (Metro). You can also ride the bus (a stop is just a 2 min walk from the apartment) and be in downtown Silver Spring in 10 minutes. The apartment is roughly equidistant from all three DC airports, so choose the best flight to the area. The apartment is a private walkout basement in our historic 1920’s farmhouse and contains a small kitchen with a burner, pots and pans, a microwave, and a small refrigerator and freezer. There is also a living area with a tv and Roku. Another room contains a sitting area you can use to read or prop your feet up and get some work done using the WiFi. Lastly, the apartment contains a bedroom with a full bed and twin bed. The apartment has a private entrance and lots of privacy. We travel a lot and use Airbnb as guests, so we understand you want us to be very responsive, but probably don’t want to see too much of us. We are friendly, but understand the balance. That’s what we aim to provide our guests. You will have access to the entire apartment. We live upstairs and will not have access to your apartment during your stay. You are welcome to park your car in front of the house and you can use the backyard as you like. My husband and I will be available via phone/AirBNB app. We don’t intend to see much of you while you are staying with us, but please feel free to let us know if you have any concerns, questions, or want any recommendations. The apartment is really close to all of the great things Washington, D.C. has to offer. You can be downtown via public transportation in less than 40 minutes or enjoy a day in the Maryland/Virginia suburbs. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. There are woods across the street that provide a nice relaxing evening walk or a shortcut to the Metro station.
