Finca la puesta del sol (Bungalow: Rana verde)

There's only one thing you need to know about our property: we promise it'll give you the best view in all Costa Rica. We're up on a mountain with almost a 200 km view into the distance, overlooking the jungle surrounded Sierpe River (where the largest wetlands and mangrove system in of all Costa Rica resides), that extends out until it meets the Pacific Ocean, where you find Caño Island. To say its magical, doesn't quite do it justice. Please note, that we can only accept cash, no credit card! Finca La Puesta Del Sol (Sunset Farm) was started by myself and my family (native Costa Ricans) as an escape from your typical touristic destinations. It's an authentic nature get away. Myself, my wife, and my daughter live on the property in our own private house, off to the side of the property. The rest of the property is made up of a small bar and restaurant (with a pool table!), a large viewing deck to stare off into the shocking beauty of the Osa Peninsula, a small infinity pool off to the side where you can soak in the view in privacy, and finally ends with 4 separate eco-cabins well hidden off to the far end of the property. Each eco-cabin has a full bathroom, a single bedroom (with a full bed, or a full bed and a single bed for parties of 3) a fan (it's normally plenty cool at night) and a view off the side of the mountain and into the beyond right from inside the room (scroll through some pictures to get a better idea of what I'm talking about). I myself built all the eco-cabins. They're built with bamboo, and very open to give you an out in nature type of feeling. Yet, they're surrounded with a thick and sturdy mesh that protects you from any unwanted bugs. Its truly an authentic stay out in nature, but without the hassle. We don’t include breakfast but we do have a small restaurant that has excellent prices for the tourists, our meals are typical of Costa Rica Up here is a place of tranquility, and silence, a type of retreat to get away from all the noise. Its the perfect place to relax and contemplate the extreme beauty that surrounds you. However, there is still plenty of adventure to be had, we're in the Osa Peninsula after all! We're just 7km from Sierpe, and 25km from Drake Bay, which are two major tourism hubs. You can plan all of the tours the region has to offer right through us, and we have some special unique tours to offer right on the property as well: - Corcovado (all day) - Caño Island with snorkeling (all day) - Scuba diving (all day) - Mangrove tour (half day) - Kayaking tour (half day) - Waterfall tour (there are 5 waterfalls!) We live on the property, and are always available to answer any questions you may have. At the same time, we make sure to give you your space, so you can enjoy the nature around you in privacy. Para llegar a nuestra finca se necesita tener un vehículo 4x4 es mas conveniente, debe grusar el río en un ferri y transcurrir en un camino de lastre durante 7 km, con otra opción se puede ir a recoger con el vihiculo de la finca por un costo adicional.
