Captain John Williams' Guest Suite
Relax & Enjoy the charms of downtown Mystic in the Guest Suite of a 19th century sea captain, Captain John Williams! This private suite/apartment is attached to the rear of the home and is entirely separate with it's own private entrance and porch. There is an elevated garden and lawn area above and behind it. It is steps away from downtown, in the heart of Mystic, yet quiet and peaceful. Feel at home in this newly renovated and furnished dining room with full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Our home is one block in from the water (Mystic River) and half a block to downtown. Our neighbors are super friendly and our good friends. Feel free to say hello and ask for advice if you are needing a recommendation for restaurants, beaches, etc... I am fortunate to have a large historic home in downtown Mystic (Town of Groton, CT). Leave your car in our driveway (one coveted parking spot for you), as you can walk everywhere. Fine restaurants, shops, marinas, pubs, kayaking, paddle boarding, and cruises are just down the street. Mystic Seaport is a 1 mile walk across the bridge, and Mystic Aquarium 2.1 miles. The Mohegan Sun Casino, Foxwoods Casino, The Coast Guard Academy, and Naval Submarine Base are nearby also. Mystic is lively in the Summer and Year Round! Come visit for "Haunted Happenings" in October, the Boat Parade in November, Holiday Shopping Stroll and Mystic Seaport's "Lantern Light Tour in December, Restaurant Week in March, River Jam in June, Mystic Outdoor Art Festival and The Wooden Boat Show in August, Floatchella in September, winery tours and more. Most of these activities are within walking distance from the Captain John William Guest Suite. Please call me if you have trouble choosing!
