Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage, complete with heat pump, dishwasher, washer & dryer (free), and BBQ. Enjoy a brand new set of stairs and river side deck, as well as a floating dock in the river channel (deep enough for most boats and perfect for kayaking or canoeing or swimming). Two bedroom home, with an open concept kitchen/living/dining area. House comes complete with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. Just bring your bags and enjoy! Enjoy our large deck, BBQ, level lawn, picnic tables and fire pit area overlooking the river. We don't live on site, but are available by phone, email, or text. Our place is situated on River John, approximately 1-2km by boat to John Bay (the Northumberland Straight). Less than a km to the nearest store and gas station, and almost directly across the road from Caldera Distillery. River John is about 15-20 min to Tatamagouche and 20 minutes from Pictou. Ski Wentworth is located about 40 minutes away. A car is generally required for getting around River John. The "rails to trails" is only about 1-2km from the house. Arrival by car is about 40 minutes from Truro, and 1.5 hours from Halifax.
