Immaculate Waterfront Cottage Perfect For Families

This cottage is a perfect combination of luxury, comfort and endless fun for the entire family. Take in the views from the deck while the kids play on shore, swim and jump from the swim platform. Grab a kayak and explore the pond before enjoying dinner on the one-of-a-kind floating picnic table and roasting s’mores over the fire. For a cozy winter stay- XC ski, snowshoe or sled right out the back door. Inside, cozy up with a good book in front of the fireplace or gather to play board games. From this room you will enjoy the gorgeous sunrise and views of the lake. In the master bedroom closet you will find towels – bath towels, hand towels, face towel and beach towels. We also have provided a fan in the closet as well. We also have a bathroom on this floor. It is a full bathroom. It is right outside the master bedroom but is not technically an ensuite bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and towelettes to remove makeup have been provided for you. A blow dryer is available for your use. This floor also has a reading loft with a desk, a futon sofa, a little library and a cozy reading nook. The family room and kitchen are on the main floor. The space is open and sunny. In addition to the seating area, the family room includes the fireplace. The bedroom on this floor has a twin bunk bed. In the closet you will find robes and towels - bath, hand, face and beach! We also have toys and puzzles in the closet. The deck is one of my favorite places in the house! We have two table under the windows on the deck – they fold out into half-tables for serving buffet dinners and appetizers. If you want to have dinner on the deck – you can pull the tables away from the house and put them together into a small dining table. The four wicker chairs on the deck work best at dining chairs with the table. The Weber Grill is also out on the deck. We have six chairs out on the deck for your entire party to sit, relax and enjoy the views. First Floor Basement TV Room On the first floor we have a TV room. In this space we have a built-in bunk bed, a small sofa and TV. We have Netflix and Prime and several DVDs. We also have a washer and dryer on this floor. Next to the washer and dryer, you will find laundry soap for your use. The Yard We have a large yard for the games. The large is gently sloping down to the lake and is covered in grass. We have a very small dock on the water's edge with adirondack chairs - for both kids and adults. Perfect place for morning coffee or to watch the sun rise. At the water's edge, we have a firepit and adirondack chairs around the firepit. The Lake The lake is clean and a great place to swim. It is shallow at the shore and is pretty easy for little ones to navigate. The entire space is available for guests. The property has parking available for two cars. The lake is great to swim in - very clean and spring fed. The bottom around the shore is hard sand and small rocks. As you get out a ways you will find some weeds and a bit of mud at the bottom - but you will be swimming by that point. The shore is very shallow and little ones can play on shore. We have a dock in the middle of the lake for you to swim out to. We also allow our neighbors to use the dock. You can jump off the dock or sit on it and enjoy the sun. Please no diving from the dock.
