The Guava Room

This nicely proportioned room has a queen sized four poster bed and two wooden jalousie windows to help capture the Caribbean breeze and keep you cool. You will also have access to a shared kitchen, dining, living room space and bathroom. Guests have access to their bedroom, the kitchen, dining room and living room area. They can also freely use the verandah and patio for dining or just for relaxing. I will be available to guests to answer questions or help in any way I can. I am happy to socialize but leave it up to guests to decide how much interaction they would like with the family. I like to offer at least one breakfast or sunset cocktails for us to get to know each other. Our home is situated at the top of Morne Fortune which is a mountain on the suburbs of Castries the capital of St Lucia. This is a predominantly residential area and is usually very quiet. Within walking distance are two restaurants which serve local dishes at lunch time and one which also serves fast food throughout the day. There is also a local bar and a bakery and grocery store. It only takes 10 minutes however to get to the city centre which of course has a lot more choice with regards to food and shopping. There is a bus stop within a 10 minute walk from the house the buses go straight to Castries and from there buses can be found that go island wide. If you choose to hire a car we have ample space for parking. We do have a dog who is not allowed inside the house but guests will see him around the garden and driveway.
