Our home is a well appointed two-storey concrete structure with three bedrooms upstairs, one of which is for guests. It is located in the south of the island on a hillside overlooking a populated area lower below and offers the ultimate in privacy. It is located within walking distance to public transportation, banks, supermarkets, shopping areas and the world famous Grand Anse beach. Guests will have full access to one bedroom, the common living areas, the kitchen, an uncovered balcony facing east and a large uncovered deck which is attached to the main house. Public transportation is readily available and the world famous Grand Anse beach is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. It is also located in close proximity of a mall and other establishments for your daily dining and entertainment. The main town, St. George's, is a 15 minute bus ride away and the fare is only US$1.00 one way. One of the current occupants is semi-retired and so will be home on some days. He will also be able to provide taxi services to take guests to any destination of their choice including island tours and to any of the historic and nature spots around the island. The neighborhood is heavily populated but the house is located away from the main road and along a side road. There are restaurants nearby and a supermarket is a two-minute bus ride away or a 10 minute walk. The famous area dubbed Wall Street provides a variety of street foods nightly with a wider variety on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Privately operated public buses provide ready transportation to St. George's or anywhere along the route for only US$1.00 per trip. For those who like walking, there are many restaurants, a supermarket and a mall within a 10 - 15 minute walking radius.
