1 bedroom 1 bathroom luxury apartment in Guatape located a block from the main square and lake-facing. Large fully-equipped kitchen with everything you may need for a short or long stay, incl. basic cooking condiments. Our building has undergone extensive renovations for over a year. We believe we offer modern amenities while still providing a cozy atmosphere. Our aim is to offer you hotel comfort with the convenience of a home. The bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and a patio with a table and 2 chairs. The open kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools. There is a small living space with a 2-seater sofa. We own the entire building and live on the upper floors. We value your privacy and are available as much or as little as you would like. Our home is located right where the Guatape Waterfront starts as you enter the village. We are a block away from the main square and 3 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The building faces the lake and the craft market. On the ground floor you will find Koi, an Asian restaurant. Guests get 10% discount on food items. On the adjacent street that leads to the main square, you will find a grocery store, a health food store, a yoga and massage studio, a pharmacy, a coffee shop and craft shops. To us, the location is perfect, away from the late-night activities of the main square but close enough to enjoy it should you wish to. Guatape is a 1.75 hour drive from Medellin (using the tunnel de oriente) and a bit longer using the regular highway. It is a 2.5 hour bus ride from Medellin's terminal del norte and buses run every 30 minutes from 5:30 to 18:30 with extended hours during the peak holiday seasons. Guatape is also an hour from the international airport in Rio Negro making it a good place to start or end your visit to the Medellin area. We can arrange private transportation from/to the airport or from/to Medellin at an extra cost. For your comfort and that of others, no parties allowed. Equally, no loud noise permitted after 10pm. Housekeeping services provided every 4 nights. There's no parking on the property. However, the municipal parking lot is a block from our building. There is a cost to park there.
