Two bedroom, one full bathroom, lakefront home on Lakelse Lake, located 25 minutes from Terrace BC, accessed off of Beam Station Rd. All amenities are included (BBQ, dishwasher, laundry, linens, coffee makers, canoe, kayak, floating dock etc.). It has a southern exposure with a shallow sandy beach that is great for swimming and children. We ask for a minimum four night rental in the winter. The cabin is pet friendly! It has a southern exposure with very shallow water that extends out over 100 ft. from shore. The waterfront area is sandy and makes for beautiful swimming. The beach area can also be used as a boat launch for smaller boats (larger boats can be launched at the nearby public boat launch). The lake is also great for all types of motorized and non-motorized boating, including sailing. When it's hot and sunny, there is no better place to relax and enjoy the waterfront. When it's cool and windy, you can retreat into the cozy cabin and warm up by the fireplace. Guests have full access to the property which includes a fire pit, floating dock, beach, lawn chairs, swing set, windsurfers, canoe, kayak, etc. We will meet you at the property or we will leave a key in a lock box for you so that you can arrive at your convenience. The cabin is located 15 km South of Terrace on the 'quiet' part of Lakelse Lake, off of Beam Station Drive. It is located on a road that has a small neighborhood feel to it, with approximately 10 nearby cottages. The area in and around Terrace is part of the Skeena River Watershed and is a world class fishing destination. Our cabin is only 10 minutes by canoe to the headwaters of the Lakelse River, a tributary of the Skeena River. The nearby City of Terrace serves a population of over 20,000 people and includes all amenities expected in a small city. You will need a vehicle to go back and forth into town. The roads near the cabin are very quiet and are great for walking or cycling. Watch out for wildlife! The lake can go from serene and calm to stormy and windy very quickly. It is a beautiful spot for storm watching, but don't get caught out on the water. Also, remember to bring everything inside or it might blow away!
