The apartment is part of the intimate and magical space of Picoplat Home: Eclectic, thoughtfully designed two room apartment, with a boutique hotel feel, yet cozy and with attention to detail and guests' needs. Features large bedroom with self contained bathroom, which is a 2 step down from an entrance room with kitchenette and light cooking facilities (tabletop stove,toaster oven, microwave and fridge). There is also a lovely private patio at the entrance to the apartment The room features a desk and storage areas for folding and hanging clothes, and a television fitted with working cable. A fold over sofa bed ( which faces the television)seats or sleeps one, in addition to the full bed. Two outdoor spaces are accessible: the Ashoka terrace at the entrance with its dais overlooking the Gulf of Paria and amazing lights at night, and the Secret Garden and Plunge pool and Samaan deck(8 am to 6 pm). If breakfast option is desired, guests are treated to a Trinidad Creole breakfast at the cost of 15 USD per person. Fully self contained and private, with amenities for preparation of their own light meals. A Creole breakfast is available at the cost of 15 usd per person. Guests access the property by the pedestrian gate, but a car spot inside with a gate remote is available on request. I love meeting and caring for people! I am also conversant in basic French and Spanish. I wish to show all our guests Trini hospitality and am willing to work with special dietary needs, including vegetarian if the breakfast option is preferred. I would love to tell guests about our local culture and recommend places to visit Quiet, safe and well maintained area in a family oriented neighborhood in between the quaint, old capital and the very scenic Maracas Valley and 15 minutes drive to the present capital of Port of Spain. Very close to the University of the West Indies and the Mount Hope teaching hospital. Short 10 minute walk to the Eastern Main Road and public transport. Parking space available with gate remote for an extra charge. Pick up can be arranged to and from the airport for an additional fee. If desired, and once available, I can arrange for a driver to take guests around as well. Carnival rates are 200 USD per day for up to 3 guests. The minimum cost of a stay at this high demand time is 5 days. Ask about our concierge packages also- transport to venues and meals. Afternoon tea or simple dinner available on request at an additional cost.
