Some of the best kept secrets on the island: fabulous dining, bike /hiking/trails along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean will have you extending your stay. You’ll love the spaciousness of this new 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment boasting high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. A perfect place for couples, adventurers, business travelers, and families. No pets please. This space is a newly constructed second story apartment. It has an eat-in kitchen with a ceiling fan and wall mounted air conditioner . The wall mounted TV visible from living and dining sitting spaces. Guests enjoy tropical views with plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves just a city block away. The Casita is tastefully decorated in a citrus colored beach theme. The modern kitchen is equipped with a deep double sink and stainless steel appliances. A Keurig coffee maker and microwave are included as well. The relaxing bathroom is complete with forward spraying shower heads in the tile walk in shower space with frosted glass privacy wall. A Queen sized bed, 3 drawer dresser and night stand, wall mounted mirror, Air Conditioner and fan located in the bedroom. The IKEA sofa in the living room converts into a full sized bed. Guests access the property through a lockbox and gate onto a gravel parking space and sidewalk leading to the back yard and outdoor stairway. There is a shared laundry (stackable washer and dryer) located on the first floor. Guests have access to the entire second floor front and side patio and back yard. Feel free to call, text, or just walk next door. We are at your service but respect your space as our guest and will not disturb you while vacationing. We live in a quiet beach Cul-de-sac just a row of beach homes between us and the Atlantic Ocean. There are three local eateries (Sol y Mar / Corozo / Vaca Chon); 3 bars (Sol y Mar and Paquito’s Place and Corozo) that sell local fare; a bakery that sells bread (Pan de Olivo) soft drinks, water, and milk; Fresh, local Seafood available at Anna’s Limber; and one ATM location (Corozo) within walking distance. The location is roughly 40 minutes from the San Juan International airport (traffic dependent). The neighborhood has plenty of bike trails and is navigated easily by bike or foot. Parking is limited at the local bar and eating establishments, so if eating locally, we suggest that walking might be preferred. Our location on the island makes travel to most tourist attractions very convenient while still having a quiet, relaxing place to lay your head. We are retired Army Warrant Officers. My wife and I served 56 years of combined active duty service to our nation. As such, we a special place in our hearts for fellow retired or active duty members the Armed Forces.
