Beautiful self contained cozy apartment attached to main house near Peggy's Cove, NS. Surrounded by the ocean with stunning views from all windows. 1 bedroom with very comfortable Queen bed and quality linens, 3 piece bathroom, inviting living room, well stocked eat-in kitchen and private deck with Webber bbq. Ideally located 45 min from Halifax and 7 minutes from iconic Peggy's Cove - with everything you would need within a 20 min drive (or 5 min to the local convenience/ liquor store!) Nearby hiking trails are plentiful and range from amazing ocean lookouts to secluded forested trails. The apartment includes strong Wifi connection, Netflix, wireless speakers, sea kayaks, gazebo, fire pit (when allowed) and ocean access. There are many fantastic restaurants and art galleries to explore close by. Walk to a small local beach or explore one of Nova Scotia’s many beautiful beaches within an hour or two drive. Round off your visit by exploring the charming seaside towns of Chester, Mahone Bay or Lunenburg. Enjoy a fabulous tour of the vineyards of the Annapolis valley, a stroll through one of our vibrant farmers markets, a tour of the famous Keith's Brewery or a surf lesson at Lawrencetown Beach. The apartment has a private entrance and deck but we share the yard, gazebo and driveway. If we are not around to greet you, entry via the lockbox is very easy and you can feel right at home until we get a chance to meet. Guests often join us on our back deck for a glass of wine and cozy fire on beautiful summer nights! We love to share our favourite spots and adventures with our guests. Join us for a glass of wine or bonfire - we'd love to get to know you. If you'd rather be left alone - your own private deck is waiting. We are always around or a phone call/text away for assistance! The apartment style retreat is attached to our home with a separate entrance and a private deck. Our home is located on a causeway with the ocean in the front and back yard. Ocean access is via our land across the street in the front of the house. The sunsets are amazing! There is a sandy/rocky beach 30 seconds away - often used for scuba diving. A protected cove across the street is perfect for kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. There are several great restaurants nearby, a lobster pound down the road and of course the famous Peggys Cove 7 min away by car. Hiking trails are plentiful -often boasting the most stunning views! We can recommend tours or self exploring and are happy to help you plan! Looking forward to meeting you! You will need a car to get around if you plan to tour. If you just want to relax, kayak and enjoy the view you can do that without a car - but will need to arrange a ride to and from the apartment. COVID 19 Update: We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: -I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob -I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination -I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists -I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay -I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines In addition: - I have removed all books, games and other items that cannot be sanitized -I have limited the dish/glassware to two pieces per item so that I can run all the dishes, glassware and cutlery through our dishwasher as part of the cleaning and sanitizing protocol -I have blocked the day before and after each guest to allow the apartment to set for 12 hours before going in to clean and sanitize
