Beach Front, shared dock with our other guests, private pool, close to town

Tourism Gold Standard Approved by the Belize Tourism Board allowing guests to enter the country as of October 1st 2020 and stay in our approved properties. If there is a resurgence of the COVID-19 virus or a similar pandemic that closes the Belizean borders and thereby prevents our guests access to Caye Caulker, then a 100% refund will be issued less our $100 booking Fee. Completed in 2014 Laura's Lookout is a beach front property located on South Caye Caulker, north of the islands airstrip. Conveniently located only a short 5 minute bike ride or a 10 minute walk to the downtown area, the house and it's surrounding area retain the unspoiled, quiet nature Caye Caulker is known for. The interior layout is perfect for either a family or group of friends, with two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath downstairs and a more private Master suite upstairs, with two twin beds that convert into king bed if you would prefer, again with it's own full bath. The sheets are 400 thread count, and the towels plentiful, thick and lush. If needed, there are additional mattresses for singles who would prefer not to share beds. Additionally, air conditioning is provided for each room, with it's own separate controls for each room.The living area features an open floor plan that includes a modern kitchen with a full appliance range, a washing machine area for your use, a dining area and lounge area with flat screen TV; a movie library and wi-fi are included. Without doubt the very best feature of the house is the full length, private front deck off the living area. Commanding unbelievable views of the sea and nearby (less than a mile away),world famous reef, it is truly breathtaking and not to be missed. It is only accessible through a door off the kitchen, ensuring privacy for all, with two Belizean woven hammocks for afternoon naps. As you leave the house down a short flight of stairs, you first encounter the 35 x 15 foot private outdoor pool, available only to our guests, sunken into a wood deck that respects the palm trees that were there before and many chaises for sunbathing. Turning the corner to your right around the house, you encounter the man made beach area, jutting 50 feet into the sea, this provides another area in which to relax and enjoy the sun, there are a couple of palapas on the beach if you want to avoid the sun. Finally, just beyond the beach area, you come upon the 300 foot dock. With three separate entrances to the water below, there is room to dock your boat (if you have one!!), 6 pods extending outward for more room and a palapa at the end of the dock if you require shade. Covered with chaise lounges, you would be hard pressed to find a better place on Caye Caulker to just sit and relax, or watch the incredible sunsets. Laura'a Lookout has also been fully designed with safety in mind. Featuring protection on all first level windows, there is only one entrance to the house, accessible from the pool deck, away from public paths. Additionally, we have an on site, 24 hour security guard. During the day, our office hours are 9:00-5:00, so that someone is always on hand to help with your needs.
