This 1,100 sqft cabin is custom built almost entirely from birch trees and it has that rustic, cozy feeling that only log cabins can provide. Whether you are having a cup of coffee in the morning or wine in the evening, sit back and relax on the private outdoor deck with a fenced in lawn. Rest assured you will be very comfortable in this three bedroom and one bathroom log home. The bathroom is in-between the two bedrooms located on the first floor along with the washer & dryer, kitchen, dining and living room. A third bedroom is located upstairs in an open loft that overlooks the living room. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, spices and other essentials. Microwave, waffle iron, rice cooker, crock pot, mixer, blender, Keurig coffee maker and bakeware all assist you in preparing delightful meals. This beautiful handcrafted Alaskan log cabin gives you the opportunity to experience Fairbanks under the summer's midnight sun or winter's aurora borealis. A welcome binder is provided in the cabin during your stay to help you decide what local restaurants and activities to enjoy no matter the season. There is driveway for free and easy parking as well as a heated garage for guests to use in the winter (only). The Chinook Log Cabin is close in proximity to rivers, ponds and lakes for fishing or kayaking, and many great hiking trails. Take a 10 min walk to Tanana Valley Farmers Market (May- Sept) which showcases a wide variety of Alaska Grown produce and handmade arts and crafts. The Chinook Log Cabin is conveniently located within a 10 minute drive to and from the airport, downtown, grocery stores and everything Fairbanks has to offer. Although you check yourself in and out of the home, making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority which is why we are always available if need be.
