Ideal for 4 adults or 2 adults, 3 children. Full access to entire space + laundry room. Walk to all of Marfa's in-town attractions. Next door to Donald Judd's home & just 2-3 blocks to most restaurants/bars. Easy access (keyless entry) w/private parking. Be near all the action! Upgraded Hi-speed WiFi, so it is work friendly. Truly a one-of-a-kind place for adventurous travelers. An elegant and modern touch transforms this historic building into a very unique space. Sleep in a king-size bed in the loft or in the newly added private bedroom downstairs, and enjoy hot showers in a bathroom which features the original sink from the Texaco gas station. Perfect for couples on a romantic getaway or couples with two-three children or even 4-5 adults on a West Texas adventure. A day bed is also in loft & downstairs couch transforms into a twin bed. The loft has a clearance of only 5' so please be aware of that. (Not ideal for elderly guests, people with bad backs or those 6'3"+.) The downstairs couch transforms into a twin bed, so this would work for individuals. The extra half bathroom/laundry room is an outside entrance only (like all old gas stations.) Rent this space with our MetaModern Home on the same property with larger groups of up to 13. Access to shared yard with house. Also has shaded patio area in front. Full access to entire place. Only space that is shared is back yard with MetaModern House we own behind the gas station. While I don't live in Marfa, I am available by phone 24/7 and have a property manager on call to take care of emergencies. Located across from Planet Marfa, we are near all the action. Grab coffee & cocktails around the corner at The Sentinel or simply walk two blocks to The Caprice or just three blocks to Highland Street for more food and entertainment. If you have friends staying at The Saint George, Thunderbird or Paisano, it is an easy walk within 3 blocks. Located on San Antonio Street, you can literally walk to anything and everything in town. Bike rentals are available two blocks away. MetaModern properties are within 3 blocks of most shopping, bars and restaurants in Marfa. Ceiling in bedroom loft is only 5' tall. So, if you are an extremely tall person this may not be ideal for you. Also, elderly people or those with disabilities will not be able to access bedroom. Also, laundry room/half bath is accessed by walking out back door into a separate room.
