"Away from Home Retreat" - St. James, Barbados

"Away from Home Retreat" is a shared space with the host. It is situated in a relatively quiet suburban neighborhood."Away from home Retreat" is a sturdy concrete house with comfortable furniture and furnishings. Parking for two cars and outdoor space for relaxing or entertaining. Both bedrooms are private. One has an ensuite bathroom, the other is a shared bathroom. They are situated in a spacious house, suitable for couples or families. Outdoor space for relaxing on the patio or in the small garden. Easy access by car, taxi or public transportation. Free access to the facilities in the entire house and of course, to the two bedrooms. There is a third bedroom that is used by the host. Personal belongings are also stored in the bedrooms as it is a shared space. If guests need additional storage that can be accommodated. Situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood, it is in close proximity to a children's play park and shopping. In walking distance to public transportation and a play park for children. The house is close to shopping, a university, and a meteorology training institute. It is also in close driving proximity to Kensington Oval (cricket and entertainment) and the venue for the local Crop-Over Festival Kadooment Day event held in August of each year. Health and Safety Unless you are arriving from countries within the “Bubble” as stipulated by the Government of Barbados, guests must show to the host, the document with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result that was presented on arrival at the port of entry. Away from Home Retreat is not used as a self-quarantined or isolation venue. If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), kindly indicate to the host and arrange for medical attention. These symptoms include but are not limited to fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea All guests must wear protective face coverings as recommended by relevant regulatory agencies or authorities such as the US CDC or the European CDC and the Government of Barbados. Wash your hands before, during and after your experience and bring hand sanitizer. As avoiding direct contact is strongly suggested, in lieu of handshakes or hugging, an alternative no-contact greeting will be given. We are happy to have you stay with us at Away from Home Retreat. At all times during the experience, kindly maintain a physical distance from one another as recommended by the relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., 3 feet in Barbados).
