Summary: Stylish home in Downtown Halifax's North End, close to many local amenities and walking distance to Downtown/Citadel Hill. This charming home has been recently renovated with modern furnishings, but still left with some original features like the beautiful hardwood floors. The luxurious kitchen features high-end Miele appliances and a walk out to the backyard. The bedrooms include a queen bed, full bed, and full sofa-bed. The Space: When you walk in, you will see the stairs to go up to the bedrooms, directly in front of you will be a full bath and the living area is located to your left. The living room connects to a modern kitchen with a table for 6. You can also access the back deck and yard through here. Going up the stairs, you will find a closet that has the washer and dryer, followed by both bedrooms and the second full bath. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the main and upper floor of the house, as well as the private back yard and deck. The basement is used for storage purposes. The Neighborhood: The North End of Halifax occupies the northern part of Halifax Peninsula immediately north of Downtown Halifax! A quick online search reveals everything that makes the North End a perfect location for visitors looking to experience the city. You will be walking distance from the Halifax Common's, countless restaurants and pubs, and only 20 minutes by foot to Downtown. Check out our in-suite manual for local suggestions. Its not just Halifax, it's the North End! Getting Around: Halifax Metro Transit is the local transit authority in Halifax and surrounding areas. A quick online search will show you their full schedule, and apps to plot your trips. Parking is not included with this unit, however, most guests find free street parking within a few blocks. Make sure to check the parking signs to avoid getting a ticket - some have time limits and others require a parking pass. Alternatively, you can park at the Centennial Pool at the South end of Bauer Street for $2 overnight. Parking in Downtown Halifax varies by time of year. There is usually free parking somewhere within a 10-minute walk.
