Comraich Iolaire/Eagle Sanctuary--gorgeous view St. Ann's Bay on Cabot Trail
This gorgeous chalet home has three bedrooms including a master loft bedroom with master bath on the second floor. In 2019, there was a total gut of the master bathroom upstairs and a wall was blown out to make more room. There is now a shower with three different shower heads including a rain shower hear in a ceiling beam, a new claw foot soaking tub, and of course new toilet and vanity with all new fixtures. In addition, a spit HVAC unit was installed in the master loft. There are two bedrooms on the first floor along with a bath. The entire front wall is glass, which makes for a spectacular view of the water, St. Ann's Bay, and Jersey Cove, You will see all sorts of water birds including osprey, the occasional seal, and if you come at the right time a mated pair of eagles at the top of the mountain behind the house. There is outdoor art from Iron Art Studios, and eagles fly over the eagle sculpture to fish in the bay. Comraich Iolaire is Gaelic for eagle sanctuary. Also in 2019, a new couch and love seat were purchased and installed in the great room downstairs. In addition a new stove and dishwasher were installed in the fall of 2019. Please enjoy the new amenities and take care of them as if they were your own. In the heart of St. Ann's Bay, at the beginning of the Cabot Trail and just 25 minutes by Baddeck. This house has everything you need whether it's for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook all your meals, and there are several good restaurants within a 30-minute drive. Wake up early or late and watch the tides flow in and out of the bay. Take out one of the hammocks, string it up, and enjoy a peaceful morning or afternoon rocking to the ocean breeze.
