Cabin at Los Titos Coffee Farm

This cabin was built in November (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , right next to the main house at Los Titos Coffee Farm which is also available for rent for larger parties. We kept the rustic style of the farm in this newly built cabin while having the comfort of a modern apartment. The cabin is perfect for couples or parties of 3. It shares an area of a 1/2 hectare of gardens and a swimming pool with the main house at Los Titos Coffee Farm. You will have your own pergola covered with climbing plants which provide privacy and a peaceful place to eat your meals and relax surrounded by the sounds of nature. The cabin consists of one bedroom with a king-size bed, a full bathroom, a fully equipped efficiency kitchen and a small living room, in addition to your own private pergola. When you book the cabin we make sure the main house is not rented, so you can have your privacy and won’t have to share the pool and gardens with other guests. The farm is at an altitude of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ft (915m), which keeps the climate very pleasant. This cabin is an ideal place for relaxing, birdwatching, or just enjoying nature surrounded by extensive tropical gardens, home of many bird species, and a family of sloths. Take a walk through the beautifully dense tropical gardens or visit the coffee, banana and exotic fruit plantations. The Turrialba region also offers more active pursuits for the adventurous kind. The best white water rafting in the country is nearby at Pacuare River (top 10 in the world, according to Outdoor Magazine), with pickup and return service at the farm from one of our partners. Other options include hiking near the Turrialba Volcano or La Marta private reserve, horseback riding through the CATIE botanical gardens, various coffee tours, canopy/zip lining, Tarzan swing, Guayabo archaeological park, a snake farm, and more. Free to use laundry room with a drier in a nearby building, including detergent and softener. We have our very own Makala products available for sale and will offer complimentary samples for you when you arrive. Makala products are all-natural, dehydrated fruit products. They vary from dehydrated bananas to banana-based fruit leather mixed with tropical fruits grown at the farm. We also have tamarillo jam and uchuva (goldenberry) vinegar. The farm is located in a rural area. It is a very safe community, nice place to have a walk and enjoy nature. You will be free to roam around and explore the farm on your own. We will also be happy to give you a quick guided tour if you wish. Los Titos Coffee Farm has two rental properties: this Cabin and the Main House, which has a capacity for 5 people plus 2 more in the sofa bed in the living room (see separate listing). These 2 properties are rented separately, or together for larger groups. A special rate can be arranged if both properties are rented by the same party. Note: This is a working farm and we might be at the farm while you are staying here. We will be available to help in any way we can and suggest what to do in the area. We will also stay out of your way so you can have some privacy. I live in Heredia, 2:20 hours away from the farm. I enjoy meeting people from around the world, so if possible I will be there to greet you. I always keep in touch with my guests prior to and during their stay. Ramon, the farm manager lives with his family close to the Cabin, Miriam, the house keeper, lives very close to the farm (10 minute walk). Both of them are happy to be of any help to make your stay at Los Titos pleasant. They only speak spanish. Ramon can walk with you around the farm, for you to experience life in a working farm. The farm is located in a safe rural area. Surrounded by nature, very peaceful. This property gives you an authentic experience of living on a small working farm. You can take walks along the country road. There is a neighbouring dairy farm, along with other coffee farms and vegetable farms.
