Relax in style on the manor - immerse yourself in Franconian nature and culture

The Obersteinbach manor on the Wilhelminenberg is idyllically situated above the picturesque Middle Franconian village of Obersteinbach in the Southern Steiger Forest Nature Park. The historic four-sided courtyard from the 18th Century is surrounded by the approx. 340 ha associated fields, meadows and forest. Today we manage the forest operation according to the principles of near-natural forestry. In the former "Kuhstall" you will find a converted country house: Apartment I - the spacious and lovingly furnished 125 sqm + Apartment II - the special 65 sqm apartment - your temporary home: suitable for 4 or 2 guests. You will find a 50 sqm or 30 sqm dining and living area with fireplace, two or one bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, and a bathroom with toilet and shower or additional bathtub. There is an utility room for your outdoor equipment. Apartment I: In the blue bedroom there is a double bed (1.80 m wide) and in the green bedroom there are two beds available as double beds or single beds. Apartment II: A double bed is available in the green bedroom. A cot can always be set up if required. Sufficient firewood is available for the stove. Your gaze wanders through the three or two patio doors into the landscape and onto the sunny south terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs. An old walnut tree provides pleasant shade. Our two Haflinger mares graze on the paddocks in front of the terrace. This is followed by our orchards and the historic castle park - a listed building in the style of a landscaped garden from the 19th Century. The shady hornbeam avenue leads you to terraces, ivy-covered plateaus, sandstone stairs, an old well house and romantic seating. From the courtyard, three fruit tree alleys lead directly into the forest and invite you to take long walks or bike tours in all directions. Our apartments are a wonderful place of peace and space.
