Modern and bright apartment situated in the center of Zilina is an ideal place for couples as well as for friends and individual travellers. It is just 5-minute walk from the very historical centre with unique Marianske square. Supermarkets, restaurants, Old Town, shops, sightseeings are within 5-minute walk range, too. Coffee-bar is just next to the entrance to the building. A perfect place to stay in center of Zilina, quiet and relaxing at the same time. Excellent public transport. The apartment (21m2) is situated on the third floor in nice historical building in the city center with beautiful and relaxing view on the hills of National Park Mala Fatra. The apartment has just been renovated and is fully furnished and equipped. It has a comfortable queen bed, which easily fits two people, fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, stove and fridge with freezer compartment and a new bathroom with big shower. There is also a small comfortable sofa and a closet. No air condition is needed; temperature keeps ambient when the weather is hot. The apartment is bright, clean and cozy at the same time. There is high-speed optical internet and Wi-Fi in the apartment, too. Things like fresh towels, bed linen, hair shampoo, shower gel, kitchen rolls go without saying. As a bonus, something small for breakfast is included. Unfortunately, there is no elevator in the building, you have to use stairs. This apartment is rented as entire place. You will be able to use everything, i.e. the whole studio with one big double bed, comfortable sofa, closet, new modern kitchenette fully equipped with everything you might need (fridge, stove, microwave, electric kettle etc.), dining table and a new bathroom with with heated floow and a big shower. You can also use all amenities without any problems. Everything is there just for you during your stay. Individual check-in with every guest is a matter of course. When you arrive to Zilina, I will be waiting for you at the nearest trolleybus stop or other suitable place of choice. We will then go to the apartment, I will show it to you and give you the keys. Apartment is situated in the city center, in a safe and friendly neighborhood. As an additional advantage of such location, it is close to Old Town, restaurants, groceries, cafes, supermarkets, public transport, train and bus station and many Zilina sightseeings. The access to the very historical center with unique Marianske square is easy and quick - just 5-minute walk. Nice restaurant offering delicious steaks is just 3 minutes away, a lot of great restaurants within 10 minute-walk range. The coffee bar is just next to the entrance to the building; fast food kebab is 100 meters away. In 2 minute-walk you can visit the popular city shopping center. You can reach the bus station in 10 minutes and the train station in 13 minutes. There are also two trolleybus stops a few steps from the apartment; both are 2 minutes away. Tourist information center is about 700 meters away. All significant sightseeings are just a few-minute walk away with no need to take the bus, or taxi and you will be always close to the atmosphere of the historical center. Povazske museum is 10 minutes away. In case of any health problems, the main hospital is just 3 minutes away. You can reach the very center (5 minute-walk) as well as all the main sights by foot. The main bus station is 10 min walk and the train station 13 min walk from the apartment. You can also use Zilina's public transport system (MHD Zilina). There are two trolleybus stops near the apartment (both are 2 minutes away). However, Zilina's public transport is mainly ideal for the ones who would like to see not only central parts of Zilina. Just few km from the center there is nice (romantic) walkway and cycleway next to dam. About 15km to the east there is famous Terchova village. It is the center of Mala Fatra National Park and is the starting point for many beautiful hiking trips. Ideal place for those who are into hiking. Recommended. As Zilina is one of major transport hubs in Slovakia, it has excellent connections to many places: Bratislava (2 hours by direct train), Prague (5 hours by direct train), Košice (3 hours by direct train), High Tatras (2 hours by direct train). Unfortunately, there is no free parking space for you right now, however, you can use the parking garage of the shopping center which is just 2 min walking away. The fee is 5 euro per day. Details about how to get from your place of arrival to the apt will be arranged individually. In addition, there is a wonderful book about Zilina and lots of tourist guides in the apartment to inspire you about what to see in Zilina and its surroundings.
