The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses/cabins on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, utility room, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. I'm only 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a special little town! I'm your spot for R&R - not parties or noise! I'm up the hill from a *small peaceful lake *JAN '22 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs. BYO Firewood, NO WI-FI, weak cell. NO PETS. The cabin built in 2019 as a labor of love so while it is simple and pretty basic, it also has a lot of special features that we incorporated to make it feel welcoming and comfortable. Keep in mind, THERE IS NO WI-FI AND CELL SERVICE ISN'T RELIABLE. The Red Cabin is a place to come enjoy the natural surroundings, to unwind and unplug! If you're looking for a place for party or large gathering, sorry...this isn't the place for you. The entire place is all yours! Unless something unusual happens, I am readily available to answer questions and/or help with anything I can. Lake Hosea is a small community 2.5 miles outside of Saluda, NC. There are year round and seasonal residents. The roads are gravel and dirt and all of them are accessible with some being a little more difficult to navigate - especially in the winter during snow and/or ice. It is incredibly quiet and gives the feeling of being remote, yet, there are neighbors near by in the event you need something. Folks live and visit here to be away from constant demands and distractions and to appreciate their natural surroundings. We ask that you please respect the peace and quiet - it is not a "party" place. PLEASE adhere to posted speed limit signs - roads are dirt/gravel and speeding causes unnecessary dust/mud. (Website hidden by Airbnb) just not polite to our neighbors :) The town of Saluda is 2.5 miles away by car but a very easy drive. Please note: As of JAN '22 the lake is drained for repairs possibly thru 2022. Whether you're interested in outdoor activities, shopping, local restaurants or breweries there are plenty of things to do and places to explore! While we love pets, we do not allow them due to potential for damage and/or mess.
