St. Boniface House Nyamitanga
Its a simple house that used to be the home for my family until my dad and mum decided that they had, had enough of the town and left for the village. After that my dad used the use for rental of students until his death due to cancer in 2016. St. Boniface house is a unique place, a typical African residential house, it has no ceiling though we will put it up now, so at the moment you will have a pleasure to have a conversation with someone in the next room, putting that a side its a quit country residential home, with a big compound, and access to town and other places. The house is made up of rooms, so we have two dedicated rooms for airbnb guest the rest are occupied by local students. The room is furnished with a bed, table and one of the rooms has books to read, its what used to be the sitting room of the house before it was partitioned in rooms. Ya their is interaction with guest, in the evening, and any time the guest want to have some chit-chat, we are amiable people. St. Bonifance house is located at the heart of Mbarara municipality in Nyamitanga the home of Mbarara Archdiocese, the church is just a 15 minute walk, its also surrounded by several religious monasteries, a university, a children's hospital, a big secondary school with sports facilities like basketball court, volleyball court, lone tennis court, and it has tarmacked roads which will make it easy for you in case you want to jog, its also surrounded by beautiful villages in Kyera, Rwarire and Katete and on top of that its near Mbarara city/town where you can go for shopping, entertainment and alike. Lake Mburo national park is near you can travel their and also you can see the water falls of river Rwizi the chief water source of Mbarara area. The most popular way is by the local motorcycle boda-boda but also special hire is available in case, you can also take walk to most places including town to get a good feel of the place. Negatively not much.
