Driftwood Heights is a brand new town house and there are 14 houses on the Promenade. The highlight of your visit iare the breath taking and stunning sea views. Dolphins swim by most days and you can see them with binoculars. The house is situated at the quiet end of Whitley Bay...very near Cullercoats. The coast here is rugged and has great walks along the Promenade and lower Promenade to Whitley Bay or Cullercoats. St Mary's Light House can be seen from my house and is in within walking distance. My neighbours are very helpful and friendly. Londsands Beach at Tynemouth is nearby and excellent for surfing. There are so many vibrant restaurants, bars, cafes, the famous Spanish City and scenic Culleroats, Tynemouth and North Sheilds Fish Quay ...all walkable. Surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, open water swimming are all within walking distance. There is a children's play park 2 minutes walk from the house. There is so much to do even in dreadful weather. Don't blow away!!! I have left bath and hand towels for each guest. Please bring your own beach towels, cool bags and beach mats.
