Found in the heart of Kohler, this 1906 historic Riverside home sits nestled in the midst of a quiet neighborhood. Riverside became the Village of Kohler in 1912. This home was completely remodeled in 2019 with modern touches and original character. Located just two blocks from the American Club resort. The lower unit is reminiscent of an early 1900’s house – picturesque and charming. The original maple floors were restored, while shiplap was installed on living room and main bedroom ceilings as well as the bathroom walls. Updated features such as custom oak counter tops, new cabinets, and high-end appliances were added. A mix of modern and antique furniture make this house live well and feel like a home. Baker furniture, previously a Kohler Company, can be found throughout the unit. A private front door entrance as well as side/back door entrance for easy access to outdoor living space. It has been modernized with amenities such as: Electronic keypad locks Closet organizers Washer/dryer LED lighting Kohler fixtures Small airing porch 55" Smart TV Outdoor living space-table and grill Lower unit has two bedrooms and a nice size bathroom with shower. Approximately 900 square feet. Other things to note There is a lovely guest book to sign and comment on your stay! Conveniently, this house is within walking distance to all the amenities the Village of Kohler has to offer: The American Club, Kohler Company, Kohler Design Center, Woodlake Market, the Shops at Woodlake, and Kohler Sports Core. It is a very short drive to Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits Golf Courses, some of the best golf in the Midwest, home to several PGA Championships and the 2020 Ryder Cup. Nearly everything is within walking distance. Blackwolf Run Golf course is a 2-3 minute drive and Whistling Straits Golf Course is about a 10 minute drive on the country back roads.
