Grande Vue - Bazley Beach

A fully air-conditioned 5-bedroom beach side self-catering house in the tranquil & secluded holiday resort of Bazley Beach. We offer, high quality self-catering accommodation, generous spaces and exquisite terrace views across the Indian Ocean to help you relax. Four luxurious double bedrooms all have breathtaking sea views along with a 5th room with a bunk and 2 singles. It sleeps 10 adults & 2 kids comfortably, all bedrooms are well appointed, with designer cupboards and crisp white linen. The double rooms all have separate air-conditioning units, private access to the terrace with uninterrupted 180 degree sea views. There are three fully fitted bathrooms as well as an additional W/C off the living area. We provide bath towels.. The large living space with comfortable seating and dining area and open-plan kitchen create a sense of flow and space with stack doors opening out onto the outside terrace. The terrace is an outstanding feature of our holiday home. It offers an undercover, seating area, plus a designated barbeque/braai area on the south side to avoid any prevailing winds. The beach house is one of 5 homes enclosed by a boundary wall with shared electronic gate access to provide convenience, privacy and security. Our house also has its own remote controlled alarm system for added security. Self Catering Facilities: The house has a fully equipped kitchen. Equipment includes a built-in oven and hob with extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and 2 x fridge/freezers. There is adequate cutlery and crockery for 12 people with all the cooking utensils you may require. A large granite counter top forms an island and is the main centre piece of our open plan living area. It is perfect for serving meals, eating and socialising. Facilities and services: Our house also has a separate study area, which provides office space. A secure lock-up storage room allows ample space to store various sporting equipment such as fishing rods, surf/ body boards or golf clubs. We have our own satellite dish, DSTV decoder (card included) and television. Wi-Fi is also available. Vanessa Wuth, your host lives within the Gated Estate, should you have any questions or requests she will try her best to assist. Nearby Attractions: The house has private access to the main Bazley beach which is a quiet and unspoilt stretch of beach, perfect for fishing, diving, swimming, sun bathing and exploring rock pools. The house also includes a permit to access a nearby restricted beach which boasts shelter from the winds. For golf enthusiasts, Selborne country club is a few kilometres down the road as well as the scenic Umdoni golf club. Travelling from Durban: -Take the N2, southern freeway to approximately 23km, past Scottburgh. -Take the Sezela, Esperanza, Bazley turn off (exit 93). -Turn right at the offramp, going back over the freeway. Travelling from the South Coast: -Take the N2, northern freeway -Take the Sezela, Esperanza, Bazley turn off (exit 93). -Turn left at the offramp, heading inland Then: -Take the first left turn following the Hibberdene, Bazley Beach signposts. -After 2.5km take your first left turn, still following the Bazley Beach signposts. -The road will take you back over the freeway for about 4km. -When you get to a T-Junction in Bazley, turn right and continue up a steep hill for approx 1km. -The start of the drive is on the left after a speed bump & at the top of the hill sign posted "Grande Vue". -Head down the dirt drive, the electronic gate is at the end, ahead in front of you. There are a quite a few driveways, but you will know you are going down the right one if you see a horse paddock on either side of you. At the end of the drive, go through the electric gate. The house is the first one on the right (blue & white). You can either park behind the house or on the south bank, which makes it easier to turn. As our home is situated in an "eco" estate and in order to respect our neighbours we have a "no loud music" policy and NO music after 10pm.
