Casa Pitaya -very close to beaches and LIR airport
You will live in a quiet neighborhood in the small town of Sardinal, very close to several beaches (10 to 20 minutes to Playas del Coco, Hermosa, Panama and Mata Palo. The house is modern in a classic colonial style, and very secure with fencing and gates; nevertheless you will be part of a real neighborhood. Secure Parking right next to the house. Also very close to Liberia airport (20 minutes), drive or use your neighbors taxi service You will live in a community in a small village. It would be a lovely cultural experience, with real people from Costa Rica. Especially nice for children as they can play with the neighborhood kids. Nevertheless, you have your own space, and if you want privacy, simply close the gate. Very close to restaurants, pharmacy, Church, etc. Very close and convenient to the Liberia airport (20 minutes) Full access to the home and gardens. You will get a sense of what real life is like in a real neighborhood that you are a part of. Nevertheless, when you want to be alone, just close the gate and front door, grab a cold beer from the refrigerator and go sit in your hammock on the back porch and relax. Let the kids out to play in the neighborhood. There is a modest young Costa Rican family that lives in an adjacent house and they are the resident managers, Gerald and Yerly and their two young sons and daughter. They will provide orientation, and if you wish they can prepare your breakfast. You can contract with them for meal, laundry, transportation and tour services. A neighbor runs a small taxi service, so they can help with transportation to beaches or Airport. We recently installed air conditioning for your sleeping comfort - very nice. You must however keep the bedroom doors shut as the airconditioning is only designed for your sleeping comfort, The living room is very well ventilated. If you do not keep the bedroom doors closed and leave the air conditioning on your deposit will be charged $100 for environmental damage. Within two blocks or a five minute walk from the house, on or near the central park, Sardinal has a every nice typical restaurant (at local prices), a Chinese restaurant, an ATM, several large supermarkets, a medical clinic, small stores selling an array of products, a complete pharmacy a police station and the Church. More complete banking services and shopping is available in Playas del Coco. it is easy (and very cheap) to take the bus to almost any attraction in Guanacaste. Nevertheless, there are also taxi's that can take you (and later pick you up) at the beaches, Playas del Coco, Hermosa and Panama. If you rent a car, secure parking is available right next to the house. Casa Pitaya (La Choza) Very centrally located to activities (Canopy, Rio Tempisque tours, Spas and shopping and with all the advantages of the beach without the grunge. Taxi, bus and tour services including spas, canopy tours, river tours, fishing, bicycling and boating are all available through the managers There is a typical, but very good Costa Rican restaurant about 1 block away (with local prices). Also within 5 minutes of Bar, store, complete grocery store, ATM, Police station, Fruit stands and pharmacy. You will live just off the main square of this little town. Also have access to a campground at a relatively isolated beach, Mata Palo.
