The Elefante is an organically designed living space. Chasing the concept of a melting candle, it took the shape of an elephant. The BLUE SUNSET SUITE with all the organic flow, has a floating king size bed, mood lighting, private bathroom and shower, ext. Step into the Melting Elefante and enjoy the inviting sand and the ever warm Pacific Ocean waters. Beach front with ocean views. Lounge directly outside the rooms and on the grounds of the M.E. in the hammocks, cafe tables tucked into the trees for a meal or a good read. This house is set up for relaxation with the DIY traveler in mind. Rest easy with complimentary Coffee, tea and purified drinking water at your disposal. Free use of our fully stocked kitchen and WiFi. All Rooms have their own Private Access points, optional A/C ($10 additional per night) and feel free to share the room w/ a friend for $10/per person per night ( floor mattress). Surf board rentals available on site!!! Brings us an Elephant (anything from statues to tee-shirts) and we'll buy you a beer !!! There's amazing surf here in Popoyo as well as plenty of other activities from in house Yoga, horseback riding, walking tours to endless relaxation. We are happy to help organize motorcycle rentals, massages, surf / fishing trips, taxis or a trip to the local fish market. All in all, we’ve got a chill little community with something for everyone. We are located on a gorgeous 2 mile stretch of still quiet beach outside the charming village of Las Salinas, in the Tola district of Rivas. Surf any number of warm water breaks including famous Popoyo Reef in only minutes walk. Stroll to the opposite end of Playa Guasacate to the Natural tide Pools or Enjoy local and international cuisine from our cosmopolitan mix of locals and expats. Please bring some cash since most of the local businesses here do not accept Cards. Btw USD $ is accepted everywhere! Its relatively easy to get a ride via Taxi or motorcycle / scooter rental if your traveling without wheels and you want to do some exploring or shopping. From Managua you can hire a taxi or we can organize a shuttle for you, the price ranges from $90-$100 depending on the amount of people. Busses are always available but look for the Express or brace yourselves for a long ride. Everything is walking distance once your here.
