The Stenshuvud nature park is nearby and wild swimming in the lake at Gyllebo. The town of Simrishamn is about 20 minutes by car with the larger town of Ystad 45 minutes. A half hourly bus service runs from Kivik to Brösarp and Kristianstad or Simrishamn and Ystad in the other direction.. Kivik is on the Skåne coastal path and can be joined in the village.
