Get away from crowds and enjoy the countryside in our private, cozy loft studio! Located on 1.5 acres, this sparkling clean and sanitized apartment with Lysol-washed linens and towels includes a kitchenette with bar-style table, living room and flat screen Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu as well as an electric fireplace, outdoor patio and fire pit. Guests have their own parking space, a private first-floor entrance, full bathroom, patio, BBQ and fire pit! Towels and WiFi included! Welcome to the country! Our cozy loft guesthouse is perfectly located whether you’re in town for scenic nature and open space or destination attractions like the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and Legoland theme-park! The guest space has a private entrance, accessible by first-floor keypad entry. A stylishly accented and comfortable full bathroom is located on the first floor. The efficiency apartment is on the second floor, up a private stairwell. A beautiful outdoor patio and fire pit has also just been added for exclusive guest use, with a canopy for shade, table and chairs and gas barbeque grill. The unit includes a fully stocked (no food included) kitchenette with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, hot plate for cooking and small bar-style seating area. A love seat, flat screen Roku TV with Netflix and electric fireplace separate the kitchenette area from the bedroom space. The bedroom has a queen size bed with 2 nightstands and table lamps. A large trunk is provided for clothing storage during longer stays. Please be advised that due to the loft-style nature of the unit, ceiling clearance in some areas is low. POOL (May 31st-Sept 1st) - Use is $25 per day (3 hour time slots), per guest (max 2 people, no day guests). Please inquire about guest use hours. Times must be coordinated and approved by host. Our property is located on 1.5 acres in the country. We have chickens (feel free to walk by and see the coop!) that we’ve raised since they were baby chicks. Fresh brown eggs are available for purchase for $6.99 a half dozen or $12.99 a dozen. We also have long-lasting and hassle-free fire logs available for your convenience for $9.99 a log. **We do not allow the use of real wood for safety.** PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow smoking of any kind, drug use or excessive alcohol use on the property. If you are looking for a place to party, this is not the listing for you. Guests have full access to their unit. A parking space is provided. We live on the property and are available to help should you require assistance. Located 60 miles north of NYC, we are an easy 10 minute drive from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and conveniently located near popular attractions like Legoland, the Storm King Art Center, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, hiking and ski trails, ice skating and more! There’s a full sized grocery store with bakery and hot deli in town a few minutes away, along with boutique shops, restaurants, bars and park. Our home and guest house is on a beautiful country road and is situated on 1.5 acres. For those looking to embrace the full country experience, we have chickens to see and are close to a lovely farm with chickens you can feed, fresh food and baked goods sold. Accessible from NYC by an approximately 1-hour train or bus ride. A car or Uber is needed for getting around locally. Our town is generally accessible by train or bus but you’ll need a car rental or Uber to complete your trip and get around locally. Please note that due to the loft-style of the studio, ceilings may be low in some areas. We also have a dog on the premises. She’s shy, and will bark but warms up quickly to friendly guests. ☺️ We allow guest use of our pool (see host for times and fee) but please note, even though we will not be in the pool when you are scheduled to do so, our home and deck is near the pool area and pool deck - so you may see us!
