Shepherd’s Cottage with Tranquil Walled Garden

The cottage is an enchanting oasis of tranquility in a quiet German village just 40 minutes north of Berlin. Enjoy the cottage year round, in spring and summer, live a little on the old canals turned to cycling lanes, go swimming in the lakes and relax in the evening with cocktails and a BBQ on the patio. In autumn and winter go for beautiful country walks then simply snuggle up next to the traditional oven with a hot cup of cocoa and watch a movie. The whole property is at your disposal for the duration of your booking. We don't live onsite but we are always available through the Airbnb app. The cottage is located in an attractive rural village between Fehrbellin and Neuruppin. The village is ideally located to enjoy some peace and quiet whilst taking in the serenity of the surrounding countryside. At the same time Neuruppin probably the jewel of the 1500's Prussian state, is not only a beautiful town but all offers all the trappings of modern society (supermarkets, restaurants, museums etc.) It is possible to get here using public transportation but we would recommend that for your own ease of getting around, that you come by car or if you want to use public transport bring your bike. Car: A24 take exit 23 (Neuruppin-Sud), follow signs to Fehrbellin. After approximately 2km turn left towards Langen. Public transport: The regional train to Wustrau-Radensleben and the local 777 bus from the station to the the church in Langen, puts you right infant of our door. Alternatively, bring your bike on the train and we're 7km or 20 minutes along the from Wustrau-Radensleben station. The village is rural so some mode of transport is necessary.
