Vintage Hideaway: in the woods - walk to town.

This vintage 1961 travel trailer is beautifully furnished and set among the trees. Just minutes from downtown, the Vintage Hideaway provides an intimate, simple and restful retreat like no other. You'll have everything you need to create a base camp for your adventures including a full kitchen, and outdoor hot shower. A private island deck offers outdoor chill space exclusively for Vintage Hideaway guests. You can do yoga on the deck, swing in the chairs, hide from a rainstorm... This vintage trailer is cozy, clean, small and intimate (7 feet wide and 13 feet long); located on a corner of our 1.5 acre property tucked against acres of woods. It is a very quiet neighborhood yet close to town. You will hear crickets chirping at night, birds singing in the morning and the breeze rustling in the pines. Please note that this is where we live and we are sharing our space with you; we are not open to raucous parties in this space. Guests have exclusive use of a tucked away portion of our property. You'll have an outdoor seating and dining area under a shade umbrella, the outdoor hot shower and outhouse are all yours exclusively, to use during your stay. We live here on this property (and here in Leavenworth for over 19 years), so you will see and hear us coming and going. We would love to meet you and say hi or we can keep our distance; we'll leave it up to you to initiate what type of interaction you'd prefer. This is a quiet neighborhood backed against the woods yet walking distance to downtown and all of its restaurants, pubs, shops and riverfront trails. There are a few larger AirBnBs in the neighborhood that can be noisy during the day. We are located just 1 mile to the center of downtown Leavenworth and so you can walk the quiet streets (takes about 20 mins) or ride bikes (just about 5 mins) - Please take note this is a camping situation: The toilet is an outdoor outhouse. Shower is an outdoor shower stall, open to the elements with on demand hot water. There will be insects and wild animals, both of which we attempt to keep to a minimum. - There is to be no cooking of bacon or fish in the kitchen as the smell will overpower the little trailer for too long.
